2020 World Olympic Collectors’ Fair
It’s now official: the Rugby Museum in Artena (Rome) Italy will be the host venue for the 2020 World Olympic Collectors’ Fair from 4-6 September. The Italian member of AICO — UICOS (Unione Italiana Collezionisti Olimpici E Sportivi) — are the official organizer of the event.
Artena, part of the Metropolitan City of Rome, is located approximately 25 miles (40 km) by rail southeast of the Italian capital. This charming medieval village is notable for its picturesque cobblestone streets zigzagging up the steep hillside. The primary points of interest are, of course, the Rugby Museum, as well as the Church of Santa Croce, and an archeological museum.
2020 also marks the 60th Anniversary of the 1960 Rome Olympic Games. In their memory, there will be a special exhibit commemorating “the Olympic Games that changed the world.”
