“24 Olympic Legacies” Exhibition

26 July – 11 August 2024
Paris Parc de La Villette

It is official! After many and long searches, the AICO / AFCOS partnership has found an exceptional, warm space, close to Club France (French NOC and others NOC House), at the Parc de la Villette in Paris.

This venue will host an official space where Olympic collectors can meet, to which AICO members will have privileged access. All the terms and conditions will be communicated to you as soon as possible.

This place will also host an international exhibition “24 Olympic Legacies” which will highlight the vision and passion of 24 collectors through a presentation of their collection. Philately, Numismatics, Pins and Memorabila —  all facets must be represented.

Our hope is that AICO and its international members will be well represented.

Exhibit Types

  • FRAMES of 12 or 24 pages, suitable for philatelic exhibits
  • SHOWCASES for memorabilia and other 3-dimensional objects

Who May Enter

Each AICO Member Association or Club may propose two collectors from two different categories (philately, pins, memorabilia). Contact your AICO club or society if you are interested.

Dates of Exhibition

  • Installation date: July 25, 2024 (or July 26, 2024, early morning)
  • Dismantling date: Monday, August 12, 2024 (or Sunday, August 11, 2024 after 18:00)

Exhibiting Fees & Shipping Costs

There are no exhibiting fees.

  • FRAME exhibits: AICO is responsible for insurance, shipping and return by post (DHL or UPS)
  • SHOWCASE exhibits: For logistical and economic reasons, we give preference to collectors who will be able to bring their own collection. However, AICO will ensure that they are compensated by way of a lump sum.

All participants will receive a prize, a diploma.

Pre-Selection Deadline

The application (see link below) to exhibit must be returned by the AICO society or club president before 23 April 2024. This is a first Pre-Selection step, so the document to be completed can be brief.
