What is the Olympic World Library?
[From the OWL website]
“We believe that Olympic knowledge deserves to be shared and should be easily accessible to researchers worldwide. This is why we have created the Olympic World Library (OWL) for you.”
“It is simultaneously a library catalogue, an information portal and a search engine for Olympic knowledge.”
“Via this portal you can access the unique collections of The Olympic Studies Centre, with all the official Olympic publications, and also find books, articles and selected dissertations produced by academics and professionals from all around the world.”
“It offers a single platform to access our entire digital and printed collection, and also connects you directly to other important publication platforms which publish Olympic content.”
How to use the Olympic World Library
Use the Search field at top to find publications on the topic of Olympic and sports collectibles in the library’s collection. When new publications are added to the topic, they will be automatically included in the listings. The publications are either accessible in full text (digital files) or available for loan (including international loan) at studies.centre@olympic.org.
