OLYMPIC COLLECTORS AREA and INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION

AICO (International Association of Olympic Collectors), an organization recognized by the International Olympic Committee, and AFCOS (French Association of Olympic and Sports Collectors), a Member Association of the French National Olympic and Sports Committee, are pleased to announce that for the very first time in the history of the Games, Olympic collectors, passionate for one day or for life, will have the privilege of meeting, and trading in a unique place, open to all.
At the heart of the celebrations, near Club France, at the Parc des Nations in Paris la Villette, the Folie des Merveilles de Villette MAKERZ, a true collaborative and creative showcase, will become the House of the French and International Association of Olympic Collectors.
It will host two major cultural events throughout the Olympic Games revolving around Olympic collections and collectors, labelled “Cultural Olympiad” by Paris 2024.
Olympic Collectors Area
Collectors and fans of the Olympics will be able to freely trade their Olympic treasures or acquire them: pins, mascots, torches, postcards… and any other Olympic collectibles .
The opportunity to meet Olympic enthusiasts from all over the world and to find, perhaps, the Olympic souvenir you were missing, or to start your collection? It will be now or never!
Entry is free, only tables must be reserved for 4-hour slots, thus allowing as many people as possible to have a space to exhibit what they want and interact with visitors. Everyone will be able to book, within the limits of available slots.
International Exhibition « 24 héritages olympiques »
24 Olympic collectors selected from around the world, representing 9 countries and the entire diversity of the Olympic movement, will present their view on the richness of Olympic culture through their collection.
Each collection, through its items, its documents (all original), tells a story, both personal and universal and will bear witness to the Olympic heritage that the collector will want to show in the light of this passion, his passion.
A portrait of each selected collector, with the history of their collection and the message they want to transmit, will introduce each of the 24 Olympic legacies.
