Unione Italiana Collezionisti Olimpici E Sportivi (UICOS)
Mission
Founded in 1992 as the Union of Italian Olympic and Sports Philatelists (UIFOS), the society was originally for collectors of Olympic and sports philately. More recently the association was renamed UICOS (Italian Union of Olympic and Sports Collectors) to unite all collectors of philately, numismatics and memorabilia related to Olympics and sports. Though primarily Italian, its membership is worldwide. UICOS is recognized by the Italian National Olympic Committee as a Meritorious Association of sporting interest.
