David Maiden

Advisor to the AICO Executive Board

David has been involved in Olympic philately for more than 20 years.

He managed the Australia Post stamp program for Sydney 2000, was advisor to the Greek Post Office for Athens 2004 and to China Post for Beijing 2008. In 2009/10 David was Philatelic Advisor to the IOC, and in this role, assisted the Working Group which recommended the establishment of AICO. He was a member of the former IOC Commission on Philately, Numismatics and Memorabilia, and currently consults to the IOC on marketing and heritage issues.
