La Poste announces 2 new “collector” sets of Paris 2024 Olympic stamps

La Poste issues a collection of 8 stamps. After a hundred years, the Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games return to France. Many events will take place in the heart of prestigious sites, such as the Eiffel Tower and the Chateau de Versailles. With the Torch Relay crossing the country, the Games will come visit all the territories.

France has been waiting for it for a century, Today it has an appointment with a unique and major event for sport: the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris 2024. Bringing together more than 200 countries, they have the ambition to be in step with their times and to respond to the main challenges of the century. The Paris 2024 Games will leave the French people with a rich heritage in the service of sport, health, culture and education.

Gold, silver and bronze medals are awarded to the best athletes in each event at the Olympic Games, a tradition that dates back to the 1904 St. Louis Olympic Games.

The collector folder is die cut in the shape of a podium, presenting the stamps in the shape of medals, enhanced by a metallic effect varnish.
