WOCF 2026 TABLES & EVENTS UPDATE

Interior of the USOPM

Olympic Training Center Tours: If you are signed up for the Tour, please note that we have two tour times on Thursday, May 21: 10:30 AM and 1:00 PM. The tours are about 75 minutes long. Each tour group is limited to 25 people so please let us know which time you prefer. We need to verify your arrival date/time to confirm whether you can attend one of these tours. Please respond to Jim Goddard about this at jhgoddard1503@comcast.net

We are nearly sold out of tables at the Fair and there are only a few event tickets still available!

As a special treat, each table holder will have the choice of an Olympic patch or the three 1972 Sapporo medallions which have been donated by the US Olympic & Paralympic Museum. This is in addition to the traditional goodie bags of items.

Registration remains open for the Archive Tour/Silent Auction and Gala Banquet

WOCF SILENT AUCTION UPDATE

Silent Auction headliners

The WOCF Silent Auction scheduled for Friday evening May 22 is shaping up to be a blockbuster! The USOPC Archives has helped us to acquire several older and significant items that are sure to attract high bidding, and are easy to take home.

Among the items already secured are:

Ten IOC badges from 2014, 2015, 2021 and 2025
1960 Squaw Valley bid supplement book to the USOC from 1955
1948 St. Moritz Daily Programs (above)
1956 Cortina Daily Programs
1960 Squaw Valley Daily Programs
1932 Lake Placid Daily Summary (above)

Proxy Bidding: If you are NOT attending, and would like to bid on a silent auction item, you will need to have an attendee bid for you as a proxy bidder. They will need to pay for the item at the end of the auction, and they will need to ship the item to you. However, we DO encourage this sort of absentee proxy bidding in order to extend the reach of the auction beyond our attendees.

We look forward to an active auction and lots of happy winners!

WOCF VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Interior of the USOPM

We’re putting together a great team of volunteers to help make the 2026 World Olympic Collectors’ Fair run smoothly—and we’d love to have you involved! Volunteering is a fun way to meet fellow collectors, get a behind-the-scenes look at the event, and contribute to the success of this international gathering. Whether you can spare an hour or help throughout the weekend, there’s a role for you.

Volunteer opportunities include:

Registration and Welcome Desk (Friday morning)
Gift Bag Assembly (Thursday afternoon or early Friday)
Directional Assistance for Tours (USOPC, Training Center, Museum)
Silent Auction Support (setup, checkout, and wrap-up)
Event Setup and Take-Down (frames, signage, displays)

If you’re interested in volunteering, please let us know your availability and preferred roles—we’ll match you with a position that fits your schedule. Your help will make a real difference in creating a memorable experience for all attendees! Please contact
Jim Goddard (jhgoddard1503@comcast.net)
if you can help out!

Promote Your Olympic Association

Interior of the USOPM

We still need the AICO Members to assemble a short (8-page) overview of their association and its involvement in bringing Olympic history to life through collecting. This is an easy way to acquaint other collectors from around the world with your activities — and perhaps gain some new members!
Each AICO member association is invited to reserve a half-frame (8 pages, A4 or standard letter size) to present and promote its society.

Associations wishing to participate should contact the project coordinator,
Mark Maestrone
(m.maestrone@gmail.com). The deadline to reserve display space is April 20, 2026.
