Where : Salon d’Honneur at Stade Charléty
How : An unmissable event at the World Olympic Collectors’ Fairs, the silent auctions will take place on this Olympic Day, in the evening, around a cocktail dinner.
The principle is simple: Olympic and sports objects or documents, collectible, of any value, are placed on different tables.
Each participant in this convivial evening can bid on the object or objects of his choice, by writing on a sheet placed next to the object, his bid, without saying a word… Hence the term “silent auction”, far removed from the sometimes agitated and electric atmosphere of auction rooms.
Not entirely silent either, since the participants wander around the objects, sharing cocktails and collectors’ memories, with the other participants.
When the host of the evening stops the auction, it is the last name mentioned on each of the sheets that wins the coveted object.
The prices are net, there are no taxes or fees, and the results of the sale make it possible to finance the budget of the organization of the Fair.
Where do the objects come from? donations from private collectors, institutions or even exhibitors of the Fair.
Those who want to contribute by donating object(s), can contact now: contact@wocfparis2023.org
Their valuable support for the organization of the Fair will be highlighted by the Organizing Committee.

5 p.m.: Close to the public, tidying up of stands
7:30 p.m.: Meeting on the forecourt in front of the Sébastien Charléty stadium to go to the port (Bateau mouche). Round trip transport will be by private bus for all participants registered for this outing, departing from the WOCF.

It has become a tradition, and the 27th edition of the World Olympic Collectors Fair will not miss it: the last evening is devoted to a dinner bringing together all the actors of the event.
But for this exceptional edition, one year from the Paris Games, we have chosen an equally exceptional setting: the future setting and course of the Opening Ceremony of the Paris Games 2024.
