Plein les Jeux Exhibition

Plein les Jeux Exhibition
Argenteuil – France

January 27 – April 4, 2024

Argenteuil, 15 kilometers from Paris, met its Olympic destiny at the 1900 and 1924 Games.

In 1900, the city hosted the motorboat racing events on the Seine.

In 1924, the rowing events (on the Seine) and a large part of the marathon course were hosted.

In 2024, the Olympic flame will pass through the city.

On the occasion of the Games, an exhibition “Plein les Jeux” is organised at the Atelier des Jardins de l’Abbaye. AICO contributed to the “Olympic” portion of the exhibition.

Also on display are some iconic objects from Paris 1924, on loan from the Musée de Colombes, which the lucky participants of the WOCF Paris 2023 were able to discover during a private tour.

A large section is also dedicated to the very rich local sporting history and its sports figures.

This is how AICO is associated as a partner.

The exhibition was inaugurated on 27 January in the presence of the Mayor and the Sub-Prefect.

The exhibition has been awarded the Cultural Olympiade label by Paris 2024.
