Philippe Lesage awarded AICO Prize
at Paris PHILEX 2024

The French Federation of Philatelic Associations (FFAP) organizes a major exhibition “Paris PHILEX” which brings together merchants, traders, associations, clubs, institutions, La Poste, and collectors, for a competitive exhibition.

From May 30 to June 1, Paris Philex 2024 was organized at La Porte de Versailles, welcoming tens of thousands of visitors. In this Olympic year, the Open Sport Philately, a competitive exhibition, was open to all European collectors. On this occasion, La Poste released its third Paris 2024 block, featuring the medals from the Games.

AICO had the honor of presenting Mr. Philippe LESAGE, President of the FFAP, with the AICO Prize for the Grand Prix European Youth Sport Philately Challenge 2024. AICO thus supports all initiatives that promote Olympic culture, through collections, especially when they are aimed at young people. As such, AICO is recognized internationally as the official sports collectors’ institution.

Finally, a showcase displaying some iconic objects from the Games also contained information on AICO, in general, and the project of the French and International House of Olympic Collectors for the Paris 2024 Games.
